Dubai DIc/MoE area - what’s Your Flatmate situation like?
Genuine question for people living near Dubai Internet City, Insurance Market or Mall of Emirates area.
I moved here recently for work and I’m lowkey obsessed with how people manage living situations in this part of the city. Like the rent math here is actually insane if you’re doing it solo.
I met this guy at a cafe last week - 29, Indian, working professional, makes videos on the side, extremely particular about cleanliness and organisation. Dude literally organised the cafe table before sitting down 😂
He was telling me he’s budgeting around 2.5 to 3k per month and wants a proper room, not a bunk bed situation. Smokes only outside, doesn’t snore, no shoe smell (he was very specific about this lol).
He’s looking for ONE person to split with. Just one. Clean people only.
I told him I’d ask around because honestly he seemed like a solid guy and Reddit Dubai always comes through.
