Updates about rules and regulations in the sub
Hi all the Redditors in r/KoreaSeoulBeauty!
I'm one of the mods in the sub and recently due to many fake posts, reviews have been posted by newly created accounts so a new set of filters has been applied to all the posts with the hope that it can rule out all the suspicious attempts to promote clinics/agencies as well as all of the nonsense posts.
This sub was created to become a place where we can all discuss beauty, skin treatments, sharing experiences, or getting opinions on specific topics, so please:
- Don’t post AMA. It's not allowed here yet
- Don’t give medical advice if you are not a licensed or accredited nurse/doctor/surgeon
- Don’t advertise the services or try to contact/DM other people directly if they don't ask for it
- Share informative posts or honest opinions based on your experience or your knowledge. Don't ask AI for general information, compile it, then throw it into this sub. This place is where we share real experience and help each other, not an AI-based subreddit.
- If you share a negative experience, please include the evidence.
The automatic filters are not perfect and might need to be adjusted regularly, so please feel free to reach out to the mod team if you have any questions.
We're all busy with our own work, so we're sometimes slow to respond. Still, we will do our best to keep this sub an authentic and reliable source of information for everyone considering Korea as the destination for a glowing-up journey.
