Ig the current astrological weather has been really bad because I've been going through it but I decided I would do something for myself that I couldn't do as a kid: treat myself. I booked a 2 night, 3 day staycation by myself at Paramount Dubai where I was catered to like a queen. It even had a tub and I spent hours in it playing with soap and bubbles and soaking myself in Roberto Cavalli scents. I slept in a comfy bed with blackout curtains, wore the most luxurious bathrobes and slippers. I don't particularly care for Hollywood and I hadn't set out with the intention of doing anything Hollywood related. But my life long dream has been to write stories and to bring them to life.
I have always felt this kind of euphoria when I write and direct (both of which I used to do in highschool). Like it was the right thing to do. The right thing for me. But due to religious family, I have always been restricted from doing what I wanna do. So I spent my days writing a script, filming and editing. It was my first ever project that I undertook after years of never prioritizing myself. This birthday video is kind of my first edit too. Ik it's terrible but with practice ik I'll get better. I just wanted to share this really emotional birthday film with y'all. It's ok if you don't get it, but I'm just happy to share. Thank you for taking the time to read all this. P.s: I'd been considering several options due to a tight budget so it's kind of poetic how I got a discount for this 5 star hotel and things happened the way it did.
I also just took a look at my solar return chart and whew if I don't kms (joke, or is it?) I'll be the strongest, bravest warrior on this planet. The weather ain't looking good for me. Idk about y'all but personally, the few weeks/days before my birthday really sets the tone of my year. Last year I celebrated the entire month. This year...is just so shite. Anybody else?
