Was talking to a guy who wanted to get to know me and we would text everyday (although he would take forever to respond). He would initiate conversation and then leave me on delivered for hours. Went out on 2 dates in a span of a month and then he would flake whenever we would make plans. He said he was looking for a ltr and I had told him I was not up for conversing so sporadically, but it was always the same thing. He said he really liked talking to me and being around me albeit only hanging out 2 times. Well today we were supposed to hangout and he flaked again. Told him I was over it and he just never replied. What is wrong with their communication skills Jesus

I became friends with a Taurus man a few months ago. Initially, he was very sweet, gave me a lot of attention, and never missed sending a good morning message. Later, he said his workload had become very heavy and that he was genuinely busy.

There have been a few ups and downs, including being blocked and unblocked, but whenever he was free, he reached out as promised and we had good conversations. Recently, he told me to give him space because of work, said I didn't understand his work pressure, and asked for no drama. He promised he'd text me once his urgent work was over.

It's been over 10 days, and I haven't heard from him. I'm very attached to him, and as an anxious person,it's hurting. Since he has always kept his word before, should I message him first or wait for him to reach out?

Do Taurus men tend to become emotionally distant when they're stressed or busy with work? Do they genuinely need space during those times, or is emotional withdrawal usually a sign that they're losing interest?

One thing I've noticed in astrology discussions and outside of it is fire and air signs are often quick to label earth and water signs as jealous, insecure, boring, or overly emotional. But when earth and water signs become genuinely confident, stop seeking validation, or start getting attention on their own, that confidence suddenly gets reframed as bitterness, arrogance, or "doing too much." It comes across as projection more than anything else. Fire signs often pride themselves on being the bold ones, yet they don't always seem comfortable when someone they underestimated is just as daring or ends up outshining them or goes outside of the box they label you under. Air signs often pride themselves on being the smartest in the room, yet they don't always seem comfortable when someone else outwits them, and just like fires, they often hate someone not fitting a label too. They're just sneakier about it. The same people who call you insecure are the first to become passive aggressive, offer backhanded compliments, or disguise resentment as jokes when you're doing well. God forbid you get more attention too, they'll try to turn everyone against you.

And before anyone gets mad, I thought fire & air signs were supposed to value intellect, honesty, and rebellion in others, but I was proven wrong. And since it really is the case, I don't see why me speaking my mind should be a problem. You guys downplay Scorpios all the time because they're a water sign with a lot of traditionally powerful traits, but don't do that with Aries nor Leo, Pluto is the planet of power too. They also rule the feminine side of Mars. Virgos get the same treatment whenever they're acknowledged for their strengths, especially intellect, never see this with even Gemini or the other air signs in comparison, and Virgo is exalted in Mercury. This is based on my own experiences and observations, not me claiming every fire or air sign acts this way. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it. If it does.....sorry not sorry.

I'm not really into this astrology thing, but I met someone recently who made me hyper-aware of my sign. (She asked me what it was). And the thing is, when I looked my sign up, it unfortunately described me too accurately it was almost embarrassing. It really makes me wonder because by all accounts astrology makes no sense.

I had a really nice conversation one evening with this person (Sagittarius) and was ready to text her that evening saying I'd like to stay in touch more often, but she went ahead and did it first which was a pleasant surprise. We went out for a movie. This kind of thing rarely happens with me, and I'm trying to tell myself that we're just going to be friends first and not to hope for more until I'm more comfortable and she knows me better. But my anxiety is getting in the way, and as I read about Taurus and Sag being nearly opposite signs, I'm wondering if I should emotionally invest myself at all. It's weird because I normally don't put much stock into astrology, and I think people (especially women) really like it because it gives them a little more confidence in investing into the relationship?

Can some better astrologer please explain to me why the other signs have suddenly started paying us so much attention here on Reddit? Especially the air and water signs. Is it because of Mercury retrograde? This sign is usually considered the bottom of the barrel, boring, unfunny, and stubborn. So why bother giving us so much attention?

Has anyone else noticed this year more then any year Aries are drawn to you at least as a female Taurus Aries men just keep coming into your life and aren't just drawn but was to have something with you either sexually or a relationship? Or am I the only one that seems to be surrounded by Aries men!

I mean. Come on!

Context: a friend of ours got caught cheating by his wife. His teenage daughter decided to cut ties with him because of it and wife filed for divorce.

He didn’t mind any of the above and wanted to live in with his affair partner but she ended up reconciling with her husband.

So now he is left with nobody. Alone. And sad.

The whole time I was listening to the story I had the “brother ewww” face. I was experiencing 2nd hand embarrassment for this guy.

I can barely count on my fingers where I made rash stupid decisions like this in my life and this includes my teenage underdeveloped frontal lobe age. No drugs. Not getting high. No casual sex. I was an ideal child for my parents. Yeah I was stubborn and had a temper but otherwise parents would ask if I was coming so that I could “keep the group in line”. I was somewhat of a narc and didn’t mind being one because I’d rather be a narc than be caught doing shit like this. I mean yeah, I have gotten angry or lost temper but never made rash decisions. I do not feel like I have “not lived my life” because I don’t think I would call that living life.

My husband thinks I am extremely judgy and look down on people who do stuff like this and I am like “obviously, I would be embarrassed if I get caught doing something like this that I’d rather die than face people”. Is this a Taurus thing? (Taurus sun and stellium) or is it my Cap moon talking ?
