I’m coming to Utah for the first time from out of state and am looking to get out and fly fish for a day. I’m wanting to drive up Mirror Lake Highway and fish the Upper Provo in order to get on some eager fish (I don’t care about size) and avoid some of the crowds. I’m planning to visit the Upper Provo Falls first and kind of move up or downstream from there. It’s difficult figuring out where to go when you’re not familiar with the area, so I’m just curious to know if this is a decent plan or if anybody has any advice for certain pullouts along the highway.
