Stansbury Lake?
I want to hit something with bass near the valley. I dislike daybreak, and am looking at Stansbury as it’s another man made, stocked pond.
Online it says it’s a private pond, so you don’t need a license. My question is, is there anything stopping me from just showing up and fishing?
I don’t care if i get kicked out, I just don’t want to get in trouble with the law. Is the pond truly inaccessible to people who don’t live there?
Lower Provo depth/cfs?
This is not a fishing question, but I am planning a hiking trip to circumnavigate Timpanogos, and I would be coming down from the Sundance area and wanting to cross the Provo river to get on to that multi use path on the other side.
Does anyone know if it would be reasonable to wade across the river right around the area where the Alpine Loop Road comes into the canyon?
If I get there and it doesn’t look safe, I can just walk upstream to a bridge, but I’d rather not add extra miles if I don’t have to (especially on pavement).
Lilly Lake (Mirror Lake Hwy)

Big Cottonwood Creek in the city
I just moved into a townhome that sits on the creek in the city. I have been fishing it with no luck the last two nights. Wondering if anyone has any tips for rigs on the creek, I’ve tried a hopper with a small nymph and a wooly bugger.
Fishing(not fly) shop near Tollgate Canyon/Coalville?
Just moved to be with family and brought my wife back to her home state. I need to pick up some braid and fluoro and I don’t want to give Walmart my money.

Yellowstone Cutthroat
Trying to complete the Cutthroat slam and the Yellowstone Cutthroat seems to only be in this area of the state which is Sawtooth national Forest. Anyone got any tips? Box Elder county, dotted line is Idaho for reference.
East Fork Sevier River
I haven’t fished this area between Otter and Piute. is the Kingston Canyon Recreation Area a good spot to park and wade up and down?
Are these Utah suckers?
I've never caught a sucker before, so I haven't had to identify them. Caught in the *very* lower Provo. Sorry not all the photos are great
Need suggestions for first time fishing in Utah
I never fished before but wanted to start my fishing journey. What could be the best fishing gear as a beginner I could purchase and what is the best spot to fish ??
Strawberry reservoir
What to expect Saturday morning and any tips for trout from shore? I’m pretty experienced but this is a new lake for me.
Sand Hollow vs Quail Creek
Heading down to southern Utah this upcoming weekend, I got a young son who has been wanting to catch a bass. (Gonna hit the white bass in Utah lake too, just wanted something a little more “sporty”). Which reservoir do you think gives us the best chance? Any other recommendations/suggestions/tips/locations are also appreciated. Thanks yall! Wishing ya luck on your next trip.
New To Utah Fishing, What do I need to have.
So for 20 years I've only been able to fish with others due to allergies, but recently figured out that I am no longer allergic to touching fish and want to get started fishing when I'm out off-roading! I'm looking for any recommendations for what I should keep in my tackle box. I currently have 1 rod setup for simple off-the-bottom fishing, which I've had good luck with for some trout in my local pond, but I want to be able to fish streams/rivers as well as possibly fish other species that are here in Utah. I do plan on having a 2nd rod so that I can either use 2 at once at a lake, or have 1 setup for streams/creeks and the other for lakes. I have in mind what rods I want to start out with since I need something collapsible to store in the Jeep, and right now I'm not interested in fly fishing for streams/rivers. I also need some recommendations on how I can get a cooler setup to store caught fish for up to 2-3 days before I get back home, as my mom loves eating fish. The goal is to start on the smaller/cheaper end but maybe venture into the midrange in terms of pricing.
Species Interested in
Trout(duh)
Bluegill
Catfish
Whitefish/BonnevilleCisco(I think they are the same/similar species?)
Kokanee Salmon
Perch
Bass large and smallmouth
Crappie
If it's in the fishing guidebook for keep limits, mention how they are caught so I can catch them.
Edit*
I'm mostly looking into recommendations for what I need in my tacklebox and an explanation of what fish they tend to catch and if they are for lake/reservoirs or if they are for rivers/creeks
If there's any women or men wanna come fishin?
