Hi everyone! I’m considering getting the RAKBANK RED Mastercard Credit Card and wanted to ask for honest feedback from people who are currently using it.

For context:
My salary is only around the minimum qualifying range, so I’m trying to choose wisely and avoid cards with high annual fees or very high spending requirements. That’s why I’m currently comparing cards like ADCB Essential and RAKBANK RED.

My main usage would be:

• groceries and dining (AED 1.2k to 2k)
• sending money to the Philippines monthly (around PHP 40k–80k)
• occasional online shopping and subscriptions

I’m particularly interested in:

• how good/consistent the cashback actually is in real life
• whether the cashback categories are worth it
• experience with the “1 free international remittance per month”
• exchange rates for UAE to Philippines transfers compared to Al Ansari or exchange houses
• hidden fees, catches, or things you wish you knew before getting the card
• app experience and customer service

Would you recommend it for an OFW setup focused on savings and monthly remittances? Or is ADCB Essential still a better overall option?
