How long did it take a producer to respond to your script?

Let's say, you queried an individual producer, but not through their company's channels, they requested your script and you sent it. Obviously, they may contact you in a week, in a month or just never, so to cope with the waiting process I'd like to read your stories.

My touchpad acts weird

Hi guys, my touchpad acts as if one of the keys was stuck - opens everything in new tabs, highlights text, and to some clicks there's no reaction at all. Something is broken, isn't it? Thanks for your advice.

Hi guys,

I'd like to ask you about two things:

Has anyone ever contacted you outside a program or competition they worked for? Example: You didn't make it to another round but one of the jurors was interested in your script.
Have you ever queried the same person again with a new draft of the script they read before and rejected? Assuming that the script evolved into something different and you want to acknowledge the previous draft in your email.

Just want to hear your anecdotes. Thanks in advance. :)
