I'm so frinkin excited!!

Last night I went to dollar general for some air fresheners, on account of my work vehicle smelling like a bunch of dirty, sweaty dudes ride around in it all the time.😏

Aaaaanyway, when I went to pay I asked if they had any Pokémon cards and the lady kind of looked down and in between the registers, behind a candy shelf where I couldn't see and pulls out a 30th Celebration ETB. My eyes lit up!! I was so excited!! I was barely hoping to get a yes for a couple of sleeved packs or something, and this lady blows my mind with a dang Celebrations ETB!!

I asked the price, it was 50 bucks, and said I'd buy it. The other cashier then asked "Oh you're only getting one?" So I asked how many they had and how many I could get. Three was the answer to each of those questions and I'm just frinkin out a little because I'm so excited to finally get some Celebrations to rip.

BUT THEN

As my cashier starts to ring things up she looks confused and is really focusing on her computer. Finally she shrugs and says apparently they're buy one get one 50% off!! Then she scanned the final one and looked even more confused! She said she didn't know what was going on with the last one but it was 25% off!

My better half is out of town for work this week, so I had to share my excitement here. Also, they'll be getting ripped Friday night when she's home. I am incredibly excited! We've not had good luck finding stuff to rip lately, so this feels like good karma cashing in or something and I'm well pleased.

Waaaaaay TL;DR

I scored 3 30th celebrations ETBs for like $120 and I'm happy about it, I mean it's like three for the "price" of one! All I needed was some dang air fresheners and I spent a hunnert bucks.

P.S. -

My cashier didn't seem super stoked about me getting the Pokémon, but I doubt she'd be real happy about me buying a pack of gum or anything else. It had to have been around 9 pm. I'm used to them having Pokémon behind the counter, but I've never had them grab it from behind that rack. And if they had sold any earlier, unless everyone else only tried buying a single ETB, wouldn't she know about the BOGO thing?

What I'm getting at is do y'all think she was trying to save it for herself or something? Just seemed kinda odd
