Alot of paintings depicted of Abraham, Moses, etc and the Archangels are always Anglo-Saxon, and why is that? Serious question. Why haven't I seen the appropriate Semitic depictions of them? Did they ever exist/lost to time/erased? Because I refuse to call Archangel Michael "Saint" and accept him as white with blue eyes and blonde hair, or wings because I know they didnt have any. Any thoughts? Resources?
