Hey everyone, hoping someone has been through this before.

There's a class I need that's completely full, and the other available sections conflict with my work schedule. I'm kind of stuck because I can't just swap to another time.

Has anyone had luck getting into a full class at ASU? I've heard things like emailing the professor directly, going to the first day and asking, or waiting for the waitlist to move, but not sure what actually works here.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm Currently in a SW4 role making $17.40/hr. The pay band goes all the way up to $50.55, so asking for around $20 feels pretty reasonable since it's still near the bottom of the range.

Has anyone successfully negotiated a higher starting rate or gotten a raise while staying in the same position? And who would you talk to about it, your supervisor or HR?
