Finished my 3rd "Full" playthrough and I have some thoughts'..... DA:TV
I finished my 3rd complete playthough and even with that said, I have Issues...
I bought the game a launch and be damned I'm going to get my money's worth!! LOL!
The thing that help"Me" these last 3 times was not to play it as a "Dragon Age" game, but just as... "The Veilguard!" I know, easier said than done!
I simply just focused on my Rooks Faction Background! (I Call it Mental Gymnastics!)
This playthrough I played Warden Cyanna "Rook" Thorne. The 1st and 2nd playthroughs I was
a Shadow Dragon and then a Antivan Crow. I played a Mage and romanced Neve in all three.
I really found that if I focused on being a Shadow Dragon, Antivan Crow or Grey Warden, it helped me deal with the stuff that was keeping me from finishing the 1st 6 times I tried earlier!
Out of these 3, I think being a Grey Warden Rook felt "almost" like the Best way to play??? Well at least it did for me! LOL!
I just wish that Bioware had included some kind of "Scene", like in DA:I where they make you Inquisitor, also a similar kind of scene in Veilguard. I have some ideas on that, but games done, doesn't really matter at this point.
That being said, it's stuff like this that has me so frustrated with this game! It's NOT what's in the game, but what they left or cut out!
EA/Bioware left out basically all the Legacy Characters, except for a few and even those created the very "Player head-canon" issues that they told us they wanted to avoid!!!
I could go on, but this is already getting to long. If anyone has any ? to ask about my feelings/issues with the game, feel free to ask...
I do like the game, but it could have so much more. Definitely a Love/hate relationship!!
