If you were about to get a Winchester Model 70 Super Grade of some flavor in 30-06, what scope and mount would you get? And where’s the best deal on said items now?

I want higher up end mag than 3x9x40, and would like to keep the low end at or below 4x. I don’t want it to weigh a ton, and like all of yall appreciate reliability and clarity and getting a goodish deal that will hopefully last a lifetime.

Prefer somebody seasoned and smart with proper, maybe even impressive credentials and local who does in-person sessions. For my spouse and me.
Been through some shit, sometimes act like shit, and could use some help working through it and all that jazz. Location ideally somewhere near SMU / Park Cities / loop 12 or south or east from there.

Looking for a new bolt rifle to be used for hunting - deer, hogs, maybe/hopefully bigger game - and some paper punching. Probably a 30 cal - have a long love affair with 30-06 but am leaning 308.

Have worked myself into a tizzy and in a circle. Looking to get y’all’s thoughts between the below (and am open to any other options, though for some reason I don’t want a Tikka and I don’t think I’ll change my mind for this gun).

My other hunting rifles are Win 70 FWT 30-06 and a Ruger stainless 243. Both on the far side of 20 years old. Former shoots great offhand and that’s how I’ve hunted recently.

Want something accurate, reliable, with a better trigger and a threaded barrel (though I’ll have someone butcher the Super Grade a bit if I go that route). I originally wanted to stick to CRF/3 position safety but am realizing the apparent shallowness of that field, unfortunately, and am kind of leaning towards one of the No. 2 / REM Clone options below. Want to be able to be able to shoot offhand but also shoot well from bench.

Budget is under 3000 for the rifle, and preferably under 2000. Thinking Leupold VX5 of same flavor the glass. Would welcome suggestions for suppressor or anything else.
