Weird scenario.
Bike has 1400 miles, its ridden HARD.
Recently, right after I start the bike there is a slight rattle coming from the engine. It almost sounds like the cam chain.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this?
What do ya'll think, does it look like it makes the 20" cut?
Got a funky one here. My truck is brand new with only 3k miles. Around 500 miles in, I noticed an occasional knock coming from the steering column, mainly when turning. It was pretty rare, so I figured maybe it was just a quirk of the truck and didn’t think much of it.
Today I took it out on some pretty rough service roads and, oh man, the knocking was constant. Didn’t matter if I was turning or driving straight—knock, knock, knock the whole time.
Now, before you suggest going to the dealership: I can’t reliably reproduce the noise unless I’m actually driving over washboard roads, which are all pretty far from the dealership. So I’m asking you fine folks—has anyone else experienced knocking noises coming from the steering column? Any ideas what might be causing it?
