Riverwood was recently attacked by a dragon, and I didn't realise at the time that Faendal had died by its scaly hand. I prefer to keep NPCs alive with console commands, so after I received a letter informing me of his death, I teleported his corpse to me and resurrected him.

I figured there must have been other NPCs who died in the fight that I was unaware of, especially given Gerdur's tendency to bum-rush dragons with an iron dagger. So I teleported myself to her location to check in on her. My jaw falls to the floor as I appear in a dark, underground room with dozens of dead and naked bodies piled on top of one another. Gerdur and some others appear to be alive and well looking after the deceased.

I take a closer look at the bodies. They're people I have killed. Cicero. Grelod the Kind. Vittoria Vici. General Tullius. Ancano. The list goes on.

What is this place? Am I being punished by the Skyrim Gods for using console commands, so they bring me face-to-face with my gravest sins? Am I in hell :(
