Is Arngeir is weakest or strongest Greybeard?

In a recent playthrough I was thinking about how Arngeir is the only Greybeard who can talk, and when you try to interact with the others their voices create tremors in the monastery. Can he talk because his Thu’um isn’t as powerful, or does he just have greater mastery over it than the others?

Should I disenchant the champions cudgel?

I noticed I could disenchant it, which made me curious because it’s a unique item. Is it worth it?

[Self] Made an approximate calculation on how loud the Greybeards were when they called Last Dragonborn to High Hrothgar. Tell me where I made mistakes.

If you ask why the map of Britain is there that's how large the map of Daggerfall is, thus it¨s probably the most likely canonical size of this country in lore.

I used megaphone as I think that the noise with which Greybeards can be approximately heard in Whiterun.

Favorite Home or Homes?

Mine are Breezehome, and Bloodchill Manor

Breezehome because it is a small house and one of the first you can get so it’s nostalgic. Bloodchill Manor because it being a vampire home added in the Anniversary edition completely fits Andralia my vampire character’s theme. Castle Volkihar might count, but I don’t think it technically counts as a player home by itself being a big castle home to a actual faction. Especially since I play on Switch so no modding support on said console.

A Night in Solitude

TLDR: OP makes his way to Solitude

Morndas 24th of Hearthfire

Drake was uneasily reminded of Cyrodiil as he approached the massive gate into Solitude. The fortress city still had the rustic look of rough hewn stone rather than the precisely cut masonry of the empire's capital, but in terms of size and pressence the city dwarfed any of the holds Drake had visited in Skyrim.

Still, Drake had to reminded himself, that his trouble in the Imperial city was hundreds of miles away. In Cyrodiil he may have been a wanted man, but in Skyrim he was a respected Thane, and a property owner to boot. The ghosts of his past would fade, and in time the uneasy memories would cease to trouble him, or at least that it was he told himself as he made his way past the guards.

It had been evening when Drake and Lydia had arrived at Solitude, and Drake had sent his housecarl to stable the horses with instructions to meet him at the local tavern where he would have procured them rooms, but the sudden throng he found himself with as he entered the city square, made him wonder, if it had been wise to split up.

The square was packed as though it were holiday, and still more people were pouring in. What in Oblvion was everyone in such a rush to see? All the eyes were directed to a stone dais at the Eastern end of the square, where a stern looking official stood flanked by several guards.

Judging from the angry face of the official and the uneasy murmur of the crowd, Drake judged he wanted no part of whatever spectacle the people had gathered to see. He did his best to make his way Northward across the square, but it was slow going against the flow of the crowd.

"They Can't hurt uncle Rogvir," the high pitched voice of a child broke through the deep murmir, and Drake instinctively turned towards the voice only to see an old woman carrying a child away, as she continued to call, "Tell them he didn't do anything!"

Drake's throat tightened and he renewed his effort to push through the crowd, but before he had made any progress a roar went up through the crowd, and Drake saw a man in ragged robes being led by guards up to the dais and behind them, an axe-man wearing a black mask.

Angry shouts and jeers continued to fly as the man and his execution made their way onto the stage.

FIN

Drake and Lydia made it past Rorikstead and Dragon's Bridge, but it was getting pretty late by time we made it to Solitude, so Rather than trying to press on the rest of the way to Northwatch I decided we'd go spend the night in Solitude.

But entering the city prompted an event, and a reminder that there is a civil war going on. So Drake watched the unhappy event unfold before getting a room at the Winking Skeever (A much more upscale place than the bannered mare, but I guess Solitude is the big city of Skyrim.

Anyway. I imagine the sight of the execution would probably have given Drake some uncomfortable Deja-vu. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with his attempts to rescue Fralia's son from Northwatch.

Art is mine, the story is from my game, but I'm taking liberties with the story telling for entertainment purposes.

Does anyone know how to get the mask on the right in the Legacy of Orsinium content?

I can't seem to find it anywhere and there's nothing concrete. Also, the creation is decent, but not worth the price.

Found what I believe is a Daedric helmet in Serpent's Bluff Redoubt

Edit: Nevermind, a good "fus ro dah" got it unstuck and into a spot I could pick it up

I was looting in serpents bluff and discovered what appears to be a Daedric helmet sitting on a dresser, but I am unable to pick it up or interact with it in any way, is this a bug or am I not supposed to be able to take it?

A bit of exploration truly pays off

Well I was doing the Aetherium Forge quest and once everything was done I did some lava swimming like you do when I found 2 different gates with chests out in the lava lake for those who are mentally deranged so if you're doing this quest keep an eye out for these 2 little paths. Bring health potions................and LOTS of sunscreen.

Also the paths lead to an opening to the main area where you fight the Forgemaster so just drop back down and dont worry about having to practice your Backstroke to get back out.

Why does J'zargo hate Thistle so much?

This happened to me a while back. I was running around with Thistle and I went to the College of Winterhold when I caught this happening. He just stood there telling Thistle to leave and didn't stop until I left.

Can't decide who to marry

Between Senna from Markarth or Sylgia for Shor's Stone, my last playthrough I married Muiri. This playthrough I can't decide between those two (my character is an Imperial in this build) I'm planning to also adopt Sofie from Windhelm and Francois from the Riften Orphanage.

Beat Draugr Death Overlord in Volskygge at lvl 15 and now you all must know my victory

I stumbled across the location after getting lost on a quest and unknowingly committed myself to a nightmare journey when I walked in. I died a million times in that dungeon but I walked out victorious. I spammed my fireball staff and put out 5 undying ghost spirits to beat that old undead fart.

Sitting on my beanbag huffing after 30 minutes of constant death before I figure out a decent technique to beat him (first time player, if you haven’t guessed that already)
