First time Skyrim player, over 100h in my run I noticed that while there's not a lot of water in Skyrim I tend to try to dive to look for something interesting but there's rarely anything, odd barnacles or slaughterfish eggs, I think I've encountered a chest like once. Seems like water breathing potion is completely unnecessary. Do you have similar experiences?

New Skyrim player here, who's your go-to follower and why? I obviously got Lydia first but she got bugged so I swapped for Urgeth (? the one we need to win a brawl with) and so far I'm keeping her.

Do followers vary in combat ability? Do some have more personality than others, maybe even some personal quests?

Today I imagined going back in time to my 18 year old self, so over 10 years ago and him asking about whether I finished university, whether I have a girlfriend, maybe a even a wife, do I have a job, me saying no to all of those and then the question would linger: why haven't you killed yourself yet? My performance as a human being has been terrible.

This situation kind of reminded me of a joke that the theurapist asks their client:

"Do you have any suicidal thoughts?"

"Oh, just a regular amount"

"...the regular amount is 0"

My female acquaintance sent me a picture of her holding some infant in her arms, some cousin, and she said she loves children and wants to start a family someday and I said I don't; aside from the fact that you have to have children 'with someone' and it would be nice to have a job when you're planning for children, I just think my life wasn't very happy and I wouldn't want to condemn someone to such an existence. She was struck and didn't know how to react. I just forgot I shouldn't be saying shit like that.

Do you guys have similar stories when you blurted out something that turned out to be horrifying to the people listening?

Jakiego "internetowego" słownictwa zdarza się wam (przypadkiem?) używać przy "nie-internetowych" znajomych?

Ja zauważyłem że czasami przypadkiem mówię "Pog!" jak coś mi się podoba (to emotka z twitcha), swego czasu też często mówiłem że ktoś/coś spadło z rowerka.

Potrzebuje podcastów do słuchania w pracy. Mogą być też po angielsku. Nitko leć.

Ja lubię Strategy and Future, Ośrodek Studiów Wschodnich, Wojenne Historie, Asmongolda i ostatnio sprawdzam Dwie Lewe Ręce.

Część osób doświadczyła tymczasowej utraty węchu w skutek covida, natomiast ja nie mam węchu odkąd praktycznie pamiętam i pomyślałem, że ludzi może to zainteresować. Jako przykład - słyszałem, że kawa bardzo mocno pachnie, to ja dosłownie wsadzam nos do pojemnika z kawą, zaciągam się i nic.

Z często zadawanych pytań:

-Czy byłeś z tym u lekarza i co Ci powiedział?

Byłem i lekarz wzruszył ramionami i powiedział, że czasami tak jest, że przeziębienie zaatakuje nerwy w nosie i potem się nie ma węchu. Ja to już zaakceptowałem jako część mojego życia i w tej chwili nie planuję nic z tym robić.

-Węch jest często połączony ze smakiem, czy masz poczucie smaku?

Tak, chociaż pewnie nie jakieś super dobre, ale smaki czuję chyba dość normalnie. Trochę ciężko ocenić jak się nie ma porównania xd ale tak z rozmów z bliskimi, np jemy to samo i zgadzamy się, że jest za słone.

-Jak wygląda kwestia higieny w takim przypadku jak nie czujesz czy śmierdzisz?

No bardzo się boję tego, że śmierdzę więc kąpię się codziennie rano i staram się nosić świeże ubrania, ale czasem się zdarzy taka sytuacja. Raz dostałem opieprz od współlokatora bo moje buty śmierdziały to mu wyjaśniłem, że ja nawet nie wiem i że dobrze, że mi powiedział. Czasami w takich sytuacjach wprost mówię na początku znajomości, że ej, mordo, jak coś to ja nie mam węchu więc trzeba mi mówić takie rzeczy. Też to nietypowa przypadłość więc przywykłem, że ludzie o tym zapominają czasami nawet jak im się powie.

-Cooo jak to to nie wiesz jak pachnie benzyna / świeżo skoszona trawa / whatever?

No nie wiem, co mogę powiedzieć. Z drugiej strony niektórzy mówią, że w sumie fajnie nie czuć bezdomnych i innych złych zapachów. Mi czasami brakuje po prostu tej informacji, którą można wziąć z zapachu, powąchać mleko przed wypiciem, powąchać siebie przed wyjściem i tak dalej. Też w związku z tym, że sam nie mam węchu bardzo rzadko używam perfum, no raz na ruski rok psiknę się na specjalną okazję.
