First-generation groups with entire universes or storylines in their music videos? I think H.O.T. could easily have been one.

While looking into the whole concept of "universes," "concepts," or "lore" in K-pop, I wondered if any first-generation group had something similar—and naturally, H.O.T. immediately came to mind. Given the nature of music videos like "The Promise of H.O.T.," "I Yah!," or "Hope," you could say the members act as something like guardian angels for the youth; that mystical aura they always carried certainly reinforces that idea. What do you all think? Which other first-generation K-pop groups could also be considered to have a universe or storyline woven through their music videos?

Hey, do you guys really think we won't get a 30th-anniversary concert? Ah, I still have faith that they'll announce something before September.

Who do you think were the members with the best solo career of H.O.T?

I think Kangta should always be at the top, but Hee-Jun also stood out artistically, and I like Tony more for his performance. Of course, Woo-Hyuk's popularity and reception in China are something to consider in terms of fan support.
