I just got them and they are amazing for customs.
Fury Toys female is larger, more suited for McFarlane DC customs (Batwoman Head).
Nottaa goes better with Marvel Legends, Classified. (Quake head)
I struggled painting realistic skin until fairly recently, this is how I do it now. I can probably show how I paint hair another time
Finally got around to finishing my custom Ghost Rider! Only things painted are the fire effects and the skull. Everything else was left like the original figures and fire effects were only painted to help them all match together. Hes closer to mcfarlane scale so hes pretty big but scales well with ML wolverine lol. He took 4 figures to make without including the leg fire effects, and 5 including all effects. All used figures found for cheap, I can do a breakdown of everything including the price if enough people want to know! Headsculpt and shotgun alone cost almost as much as most of the figures but theyre not really necessary.
Cut the limbs ( and head) off the Todd’s Mods vinyl figure to make some accessories for the Superman 2025 Metamorpho. The fist is a little more orange than the body still but I’m loving this setup. Added some washes and dry brushing and also painted the shorts all black to make it look more like the comics. I also shortened him just a little bit so he scales with my mostly 1/12 collection.
This time I’m trying out the Kate Bishop head sculpt. This look is more reminiscent of Jan from Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.

Saw this and I decided to give it a whirl. Bought a Batman suit from eBay and am considering using this as a base. As do what Batman, I’m mostly going for a generic/classic Batman. My main concern would be the arms. I’m not sure how I can put the gauntlets on. Guess I’ll also need a head too.

I've been rewatching The Boys and i realized Kimiko's design is really close to the new Marvel Legends Born Again Jessica Jones. Black shirt, black leather jacket, ripped jeans, and fingerless gloves. I'd only need to paint the jeans black. This is probably the only thing convincing me to get the two pack. Are there any better figures to use as a base?
Used a Moonknight body and Mattel Kyle head.
I blocked off the areas I wanted to keep white and then just painted silver on the areas you see.
The lantern emblem I made in illustrator and then cut it on vinyl heat stick paper.
I saw this on Twitter, I really wanted to try it. But of course, when me and other people have tried asking this guy how he does it. He never tells.
So I came on here to ask. I don’t use Reddit much, and this might be the wrong sub-Reddit for this type of question. But any good painters know how he achieved this glowing look? Or if it’s fake? Or just really good color grading?

I decided to do comic black noir from the boys and I thought it would be simple. I’m willing to take any criticism so I could do better on my next project.
Would anyone be able to advise on what color they would use to make the action figure on the left the same color as the face on the right? I'm looking for a more movie accurate look to paint the face with.
Looking for a whiter look on the right as opposed to the yellow look on the left.
