First time doing tile and wondering if it’s bad enough to try to retro fit schluter edging around the window by grinding out the thinset around the window install.

The left corner of the wall was a nightmare trying to get everything lined up but this is where I’m at unfortunately. Gained a ton of respect for how hard this work is. Any advice is appreciated.
