First pick worse than other picks?

I played a lot of games and lately had a milty draft where the slices and factions where all comparable. Therefore I picked 1st pick before. But the more I think about it, the more I think being 3rd-ish is a better starting position than being speaker in the first round.

If you start as speaker, it is very possible, that you will never be speaker again in a 6P game.

- turn 2: player 3/4 takes it. Maybe sells it

- turn 3: the one who sold it can take it again

- turn 4: it needs to come back to you, which it will not, because it ia securing imperial for round 5

Also, being third in round one is enough to secure a BT with trade, diplo or politics.

Is there a statistic for starting position to winrate?

Do you agree?

Do you intentionally pick a worse seat over speaker in round 1?
