I ETS in a year, but I feel guilty for wanting to get out. I’m a tabbed spc TL. My unit sucks, BN sucks, Company sucks, PLT sucks. I do my best to teach and mentor my guys, but no one seems to care (Leaders & subordinates).

Not a lot of guys are worth 2 shits and I feel like I’m abandoning the guys if i get out. Since theres really no other leaders who care.

How have y’all dealt with this. Staying in my unit really isn’t even a thought for me, but i’m a bit hurt knowing the guys are left out to dry.
