I finally got my breast reduction today. Everything went smoothly! My pain is maybe a 5/10. Didn’t feel groggy at all after just feel very tight and not trying to move to much.
I asked a friend since March to help me on night one into day 2
I specifically asked them to help me home, assist overnight and help me in the morning to wash up. I was very thorough with the extent of help I needed and the days I needed help. I asked six times and also made sure each time they were comfortable helping.
I’m home right now, a few hours post-op and can barely move, and this person drops me off and just leaves me. I ask why they’re leaving, are they coming back, and I’m told “I have work tomorrow morning.”
Huh? If this was communicated earlier, I would’ve asked my other friends for support but I told everyone that today that person was going to help. Now I’m scrambling to see if someone can help.
Really just needing words of encouragement or any advice right now as I am alone 🥹
