I have 1 brother and I’m also a guy… so my mom has 0 daughter. Well my second eldest cousin is getting married in August and is going dress shopping now. She had set one of the appointments for Saturday already and mom had to make a choice between my cousin and me. So, my mom chose dress shopping over moving me in. It’s not just a one day thing either. This will take multiple trips to move in fully, considering that I have to get a bed, desk, multiple chairs, and couch out the without a U-Haul or whatever. My dad’s helping cause he didn’t pick my cousin (no choice but whatever).
Also I really wanted her help but I’m just… done. Like there’s almost always someone else who takes priority over me. My cousin is going wedding dress shopping with multiple appointments that she took of work one day to go to one already and one lies the same day I’m moving into my apartment. My brother has a golf match during my 2nd football match (please note we were playing our biggest rivals). She’s “got work” when we’re moving me home but not for my brother’s graduation. It’s just this time… I really hoped she’d step up and she let me down. Again. And I called her so excited to move in and for her to help bc she was obviously gonna take over the aesthetics cause our house is wonderfully decorated. By her.
