It seems most theaters around the U.S. that are showing both films in IMAX are doing TGM first at like 4pm on May 13 and then TG at around 7pm. So if you want to see both back to back in the late afternoon and early evening, it’s Maverick first, unless you do one of them in a different format like Dolby or standard etc. depending on a given theater’s options.

I assume it’s something with studio/theater contracts but given it’s the same studio and franchise it just seems really odd.
