Recently banned from Spotify because of "unauthorize usage of outside of Spotify". I've only ever used Spicetify and regular Spotify client before so what could be the reason?
Hello, I recently received an email about being banned form Spotify for the reason of "making unauthorized copies for use outside of Spotify" which is something I never done as I've only used regular Spotify client or Spicetify since I've created my account 4 years ago. Could certain marketplace mods have been the reason? Really stumped as I've never used anything other than Spicetify and the google play store version of Spotify on my phone so it cant be because of a premium hacked modded client UPDATE: got my account back and talked to support. From what the support said and what is in the TOS, VPNs even if just being used to listen to music not to grab cheaper premiums is against their policy and will get you banned. Other sites and comments may say its okay but as far as my conversation with the customer service rep with, VPNs are a no go. More to the conversation for anyone interested
