Bad shadow/texture shimmering across games, visible in video capture. RTX 3060 Ti, 1440p, DDU did not fix.
I am having a weird graphics issue where shadows, fine details, and some textures look unstable/noisy in multiple games. It is not just one specific game. Even older games like Batman: Arkham Asylum have rough-looking shadows and weird shimmering/jagged artifacts.
My specs:
- GPU: RTX 3060 Ti
- Monitor: Gigabyte M27Q 27" 1440p 165Hz
- Native resolution: 2560x1440
- NVIDIA Control Panel was reset to defaults
- Tried changing texture filtering quality to High Quality
- Tried updating NVIDIA driver
- Used DDU in Safe Mode and reinstalled an older/stable NVIDIA driver
- Issue still happens after DDU
- Happens across multiple games, not just Batman
- The issue appears in video capture, so I do not think it is only a monitor issue
- Game resolution is set to 2560x1440
- Render scale/resolution scale is set to 100% where available
- DLSS/FSR/upscaling disabled where available
- NVIDIA Image Scaling is off
- NVIDIA Control Panel global settings reset
Does anyone have ideas on what could cause global shimmering/bad shadows/fine texture aliasing across games even after DDU?
