“Sara Smile” is one of my go-to Soul songs on a Friday as I wind down into the weekend. Hall and Oates really put their soul into this record. They always bring the Philly Soul and Blue-Eyed Soul every time they play.

This TV performance originally broadcasted on 1/31/1976 on the TV program “TopPop”. Ultimately “Sara Smile” reached no.4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no.23 on the Hot R&B chart. This song will live on in Soul music forever; so many artists have sampled it over the years. Happy Friday y’all!
