There are only nine 2 hour rides on demand…

and after doing one of them this morning I understand why! As Wilpers and CVV said from the beginning, it was more of a mental challenge than a physical challenge. I am glad I did it and truly didn’t stop pedaling for the entire two hours, I think in the future I would rather do two 1 hour rides just to switch up the variety. I like both Wilpers and CVV, but I was watching the clock way too closely starting at the 90 minute mark.

Let me preface this by saying I try to do at least 3 ride and strength training stacks a week. However, they are always ride first and then strength second. I have a couple big deliverables due at work this week so I put in a 14 hour work day at the office yesterday and really wasn't super motivated to do any type of workout last night. Talked myself into starting with a 30 minute arms and shoulders class with Adrian that had a lot of bicep / tricep work. That got me awake and motivated to do a 30 minute AT Hip Hop ride. My legs felts great, but stretching my arms out to grab the handlebars was a completely different story. Good lord was that a bad idea. Made it through the ride putting up solid numbers, but I will never reverse order again.
