I changed 2 thing about how i drink 'water' and now my pee is clear
example of the exact jar i have been using (not my image)
i grew up with kidney issues and a huge problem for my mother when was very little was always getting me to drink more water. even as an adult in my 20s i still stuggle and can go a whole day having only drunk around 250ml or so and then theres me confused as to why my bladder and faulty kidney feels sore and i feel so upset.
recently me and my partner got a big jar of sour pickles from this brand ROLNIK and the jar contains 900ml of water when filled up. I washed it out after use and have been using it as a glass i keep with me as i work on essays as a bid to get me to drink more in one sitting withiout having to refill/filter more water reducing the friction between me getting and drinking more water (for those familiar with atomic habits this is unintentionally doing one of the tips Clear suggests)
additonally i recall a key way my mum got me to drink way more water when i was little was just by making it squash, i understand hearing this may be upsetting to water purists but i live in an area where hard water comes out the tap and the last time i thought i could just fill the jar with just tap water a i got a visibly 'creamy(?)' layer of sediment ontop and even after filtering it still doesnt taste very yum and bottled water is expensive here.
so i started to buy ribena (more recently ribena no added sugar!) and my god has it been a gamechanger. ive been drinking around 3 jars a day which adds up to 2.7L and i do of course go over this via what other food and drinks in the day provide me and today i actually peeped before flushing and for the first time in forever my pee is clear!
its just a shame i dont have a freezer otherwise id also be adding some nice crisp ice cubes too especially with the weather warming up :)
id love to know what clever tricks you guys use to up your water intake especially those of you who live in hard water areas?
