Shimano FG KNOT Multitool 1 Month On - I like it!

Last month, I bought the new Shimano FG Knot multitool as soon as it came out, and I have to say I really enjoy using it. Although it's not a necessity, it's a convenient tool to have, especially out to sea. I like that it its a line clamp, line puller, line breaker and snap puller all-in-one as it saves me having to look around for everything individually after a line break. The consistent tension also really helps when tying the knot and keeps everything at a nice angle to work with. Everyone has their own little tricks and methods when it comes to the notorious FG knot, but this is really working well for me.

Konnichiwa! Keoki from Umiox Fishing in Japan. Last weekend, I replaced the impeller on my Tohatsu 9.8hp after noticing the cooling system pressure was weakening. I took the opportunity to film a step-by-step guide in 4K to show you how it’s done. With only eight bolts and one split pin to manage, it’s a surprisingly easy DIY project. I hope this helps—tight lines!
