UBC conditional acceptance terms
Hi! I had a question about UBC conditional acceptance offer (and yes I did email about this but they just said that they wouldn't be able to give me like a "proper response"- basically they couldn't give me a direct answer.)
I received an offer for UBC Arts a while back based on my grades after semester 1 midterm marks came out. At this time, I was planning to take calculus, but I hadn't yet. I assume it just said that I was going to take it in semester 2.
But, I ended up dropping the class in semester 2. I was wondering if there was any way that I could have my conditional offer taken back because I dropped the class. Like I said before, when I emailed UBC about it they said something along the lines of "it varies case by case so we wouldn't be able to give a direct answer".
Admissions would not have seen a grade for calculus when they offered me a conditional acceptance, but on my transcript, they would be able to see that I dropped it.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
