What throws off a ride before it even starts?

Had a passenger get in today and immediately start giving directions before I even pulled away.

Not even in a rude way, but it instantly made the ride feel tense. Like I get that you know the area, but give me two seconds to start the trip and see where the GPS is taking us.

It made me wonder what other drivers notice right away. What’s something a passenger does before the ride even starts that makes you think, “alright, this might be annoying”?

People who can’t keep one speed are worse than fast drivers

I drove behind someone today who kept bouncing between like 55 and 75 for no reason.

No traffic. No weather. No cops. Just randomly slowing down, then speeding up, then slowing down again.

I’d honestly rather be behind someone going a little slow than someone who makes me constantly guess what they’re about to do. That way I can drive around and move on.

What's a car feature you thought was a gimmick until you actually had it?

For years I thought CarPlay was completely unnecessary. Now I kind of get it. Especially for wireless CarPlay. It's super convenient and automatically syncs up with my phone.

What car feature changed your mind?
