Kabbadi

Why doesn’t Pakistan invest more into Kabaddi when we probably have some of the most natural talent and legends in the sport? Punjabi Pakistan has produced strong kabaddi players for generations, but the country never really gave the sport proper leagues, funding, media coverage, or support. Meanwhile other countries modernized kabaddi and turned it into a major professional sport while Pakistan still treats it like only a village game. Honestly feels like Pakistan ignores one of the sports it could naturally be elite at

Serious Question About Ethnic Violence in Pakistan

Why are ordinary Punjabi civilians targeted or hated for things they personally had nothing to do with? A Punjabi laborer, truck driver, student, barber, or worker in Balochistan or KP is not the government, military, or intelligence agencies. Most regular people are just trying to feed their families like everyone else.

If the issue is with the Pakistani state, policies, disappearances, or military actions, then why does the anger sometimes get taken out on random civilians instead? What does killing or terrorizing innocent workers actually solve besides creating more ethnic hatred between Pakistanis?

I’m genuinely asking because from a Punjabi perspective, a lot of us feel blamed collectively for things we never controlled.

Anybody else from rural Punjab notice how common bund wali gallan were in pindan?

I lived in a village in Punjab around 2017-2019 and I swear this stuff was everywhere. People would openly say things like “mai odi bund laii,” “ina onu bund ditti,” “oda video leak ho gaya,” etc. Sometimes whole videos would spread through the pind and everybody would know about it.

One time my cousin literally showed me a guy everybody in the village said “bund dinda si” after a video spread. When people asked him “tu eh kyun kita?” he replied “ki tu vi daniya so?” and everybody just got quiet 😭

At first I thought people were joking but then I realized some of this stuff was real and not just trolling. I’m genuinely curious if other people from rural Punjab or South Asian villages experienced the same type of culture or gossip growing up.
