Cross training help
I keep trying to cross train at my store and it feels like I’m the only adult involved in this. I’m trying to cross train into grocery so how can I speed up this process of getting on another schedule? I really need more hours and I’m part time in deli so my manger only gives me 15-25 hours per week. I’ve spoken to pharmacy as I have my pharmacy technician license but after a month of back and forth with the store manager and the pharmacy manager, (them telling me they need to switch my job class or something and just me trying to catch them whenever they work) the pharmacy manager ended up telling me I can’t due to low productivity. Like why didn’t you just tell me that from the beginning dude? Now I’m trying grocery and I’ve spoken to the manager as well as mine. I asked my manager did she change it in the system, and My manager said it should pop up in the system when he makes his next schedule. What should I do to avoid waiting another month or so just to get let down? it seems like there’s a lot of miscommunication and it’s giving me anxiety. I’m about to quit and go somewhere else where I can get paid.
