Overdose at the end of Kaskade
Wanted to check in to see if anyone had any information about the guy who OD’d toward the end of the Kaskade set, just before Above and Beyond. We saw him get unsteady and when his legs gave we caught him and pulled him back toward the metal barrier of the VIP section to get him out of the crowd. We gave him Naxolone twice which helped a little and stayed with him for around 40 minutes until EDC staff came….no one around came to claim him so I assume he was alone.
At various points, he had his tongue coming out, had no reaction to a sternum rub, and was completely unresponsive to any stimuli. The whole thing was scary as hell.
But there was also an almost-wholesome moment when we were holding him and talking to him trying to keep him awake. I asked “Do you like Tiesto?” He grunted an “uh huh” and both his arms started moving to the beat as he slumped against the barrier, it was the only time he reacted in understanding…. If he remembers anything, I hope he remembers that moment, that people were there for him, and that Tiesto slaps.
Any info would be appreciated, would really love to know he is ok!
