A few newb-ish questions
Build 41, just some car mods.
So, the power and water just cut out. I've been collecting as much fresh food as possible, but it's been kinda slow going since I random spawned in West Point. Yes, I'm aware West Point isn't great for newbs, but honestly it's been going really well. I've secured my block and the gas station, as well as the east side of town and I'm slowly pushing on main street for that sweet sweet hardware store.
Anyway, how do most people keep themselves fed once all the fridges are full of rot? Do canned foods cut it long term? Or is a farm something I need to get set up sooner rather than later? Also, how in gods name do you keep your guy in a good weight range? He's dropping pounds like crazy. I try and keep a green food moodlet up as much as possible, and I've been having him full eat massive roasts/stews, but his weight is still plummeting. Do I just need to chill out on the running around and fighting for a bit or something? I'd rather not be underweight while fighting the hordes on main street, but I can't really do much base building until I find a damn axe, which I'm really hoping the hardware store will have.
