What is your thought process of what a New SSB game would be like?
So i was daydreaming how a New ssb game could be like and thought what if the classic Mode had 6 different modes unlocked one after a another. The first has the og cast with masterhand as the FB. Then the melee cast with giga Browser as the final boss. Then brawls New Edition of fighters with tabuu as FB. Then mastercore as the FB. And then the ultimate cast with the two final bosses i cant remember the names. Basically one big nostalgia trip.
And then the 6th classic Mode representing the New game....what could a New smash bros final boss Look like...
Thematically i Was thinking:
-little kid plays with toys in his bedroom and his Hand is the god of his little universe (64)
-teenager has a collection of Trophies now. He still likes the classic play and has added the idea of crazy hand and masterhand as opposites. Along the way other adventures were in his head were giga Bowser emerged (I believe giga bowser is a custom made figure from the boy) (melee)
-the boy gets older and faces the idea of adulthood....He invents a whole story in his head to cope with growing up....his figures are Socially seen as childsplay.....this manifests in tabuu and the subspace.....masterhand (who is literally the boy itself) was defeated by tabuu.....enslaved what to think and when he fought back he lost.... but the figures defeated the stigma literally.....maybe its not so important what others think as long as you love what you do.....(Brawl)
-masterhand and crazyhand expose their true form with mastercore. I can only say this is the creator himself of the ssb games. Maybe the boy, now a man, literally created his childhood Fantasies with These games (Wii U and 3DS)
-growing older he realized the fight between the companys and the communites over how a game should be. Maybe there is no answer. A balance must be found. The whole Story of the game (Ultimate) is exactly that. A true ending is achieved by finding balance between both.
..... so what could follow for a New game?
Based on that I thought the title Super Smash Brothers: Beyond is kinda fitting...what is beyond our current state of mankind....basically AI right? The whole message of Ultimate is Ruined once you bring in AI who will one Day do everything. Create its own games based on its own data. Its like the creator of These games cant do anything. Its basically a fight.
It would be amazing to See a mechanical Version of masterhand. I was thinking "Artifical Hands". A whole army run by a supercomputer who wants to capture all fighters and make better, Robotic versions of them. Flawless.
The final boss could have the more than fitting Name singularity. If he wins free will is gone.
