wanna play smash bros again it has been year the last and only one i played was brawl and i loved it on the wii that was like 2016-2018 but which one would you reccomend for solo are they even fun solo i dont remember much of it besides it having the best intro of any game ever
and i cant play online since well i gotta emulate it
I know the basics but im just struggling with execution. bots aren’t a good practice vs real people because they don’t act the same, and it feels like everything i do just ends up being predicted online, and im stuck

I’m currently looking for any Super Smash Bros. 64 Nintendo cards that came from the Black Diamond Cheestrings promotion in the late ’90s. Some of the cards came inside Cheestrings, while others were included with Black Diamond cheese and Ficello products.
The main reason I’m looking for these is for both collecting and archiving. There are still quite a few cards from the set that don’t even have photos online, and I really like to help document them for the community.
If you happen to have any of these cards, I’d love to see them. Even if you’re not interested in selling, photos or scans would be incredibly helpful. If you know someone who might have collected them years ago, I’d really appreciate it if you could send them this post.

Idk if this is against guidelines (delete if it is!) but I (21F) am looking for a roommate to split an air bnb/hotel room with near the supernova scene/baltimore area August 6-9. Dw im very familiar with internet safety so this will require an intensive screening/talking till Im comfortable/confident! just found this out and I’m baffled… I knew ridley had an demo theme too, and that was changed. but I haven’t seen the villager from animal crossing‘s demo theme talked about or acknowledged.
I came across this YouTube video, which is a compilation of clips taken from those demos and it does some noticeably different to what I’m used to. I’m just confused on why this was changed? It sounded perfect to me.
Sonic's moveset is pretty bad. We all know it. Every time I say I main Sonic, I immediately follow it with, "I wish he'd get a new moveset." But after seeing this YouTuber's redesign, I'd genuinely rather keep the one we have.
Sonic's biggest problem is simple: he's too campy. He's so good at hit-and-run that it becomes annoying. This redesign completely misses that point.
First, the creator wants to take most of Sonic's moves from Frontiers. Don't do that. Frontiers was a great step in the right direction, but it wasn't the Mario Odyssey of Sonic. A Smash moveset should celebrate the whole series, not mostly one game.
Then comes the dumbest idea in the video: Sonic has to build up speed by running. That works in Sonic, not Smash. Stages are too small, and unless we're all fighting on Wii Fit Studio or running through loop-de-loops, it just doesn't fit.
The aerials are mostly fine, except forward air. Project+ already proved the Sonic Eagle could make a great forward air, and his current back air never needed changing.
Neutral special, Homing Attack, is surprisingly fine. Side special, though, is awful. Want to know what it is? Boot up Smash, pick any character, and hold forward. That's basically the move. It's a glorified run button with no real purpose.
The meter makes it even worse. I don't hate meters, but making Side B rely on one just means your special barely works until you've earned the right to use it. That's terrible design. I could list the main problem of the meter with one word: Megaman no elaboration needed.
Down special is actually a good idea. Smash Remix sold me on using the Drop Dash.
Up special is where it loses me again. Replacing Spring because people get hit by the tiny spring afterward is such a bad reason. Just remove the hitbox or make it launch upward instead. There were way easier fixes.
Overall, this moveset is dumb, and if this ever became Sonic's official Smash moveset, I'd genuinely drop my favorite character. It's that bad.
