The old man was David Attenborough’s best friend. Attenborough expressed his grief in public today when he heard the news, because he himself is alive and well.

I can’t believe this. David Attenborough is actually dead. I loved that guy so much. We have to pay respects. (fake)
My friend texted me the message in the title this morning. Apparently he read one of the posts in this sub just by the title and actually believed it. I had to google it up and reassure him that David Attenborough is alive and well.
