Hey guys recently I posted about how my brand new python was having horrible accuracy. Well I bought some Wilson combat rear sights and put them on, like you all suggested. Here are some of my groupings at 10 yards.
Hoping somebody can help me out. Just bought my dream gun. I’ve wanted a colt python since I was 11 years old. I got a 6 inch stainless steel model from 2020 and beyond. But holy shit the accuracy is horrible. Like atrocious, I can’t even hit paper half of the time. I have plenty of experience with revolvers. I own two smith & Wesson’s and have no issue hitting bullseyes. I’ve tried 3 separate types of ammo (Speer gold dot 125 grain, Sellier & Bellot 158 gr, and Fiocchi range dynamics 38 sp.) none of the aforementioned ammo types produced any type of respectable groupings. I shot from a rest and standing. Does anybody have any suggestions? Is there anything I’m missing here? This is driving me crazy, especially after spending $1,500 on a revolver. It’s also worth mentioning that half of the time I’m not even hitting paper. At 10 yards.
