Hi all,
We Are currently planning our once in a lifetime family Hawaii trip, were we possibly spending 30k for accommodation in Hawaii. I am thinking to apply for the Platinum challenge in order to also boost up my status. Would you apply for the challenge right before the Hawaii trip or should I do a mattress run in advance. Thinking it might be nice to have the status already when traveling to Hawaii plus collecting already 25% more bonvoy points during the stay (Iam currently gold status).
Is there a good way for a mattress run? I was thinking to book a cheap hotel in Bali but I am scared it might counts towards a no show. What would be your recommendation?
