Hi SR! My family is relocating to SR and my oldest is entering TK. Unfortunately as we’re just now moving, the on-site after school program is already full. We’re thinking of making an offer on a house in Orinda but the biggest drawback right now is that it’s on a large lot but it’s a gently sloped hillside so there’s not much usable space at the moment. There’s potential to grade a good a good part of it and add a retaining wall but I’m wondering how difficult the city is Orinda is when it comes to getting projects like this approved? If anyone has cost for recent similar projects and are willing to share that would be helpful.
