Why is making friends so difficult at this age?
Like holy I’m 22. I’ve been to events, joined clubs, gone to uni stuff, I have done everything to find my own new circle. I had some close friends last year but it didn’t work out. I had been actively trying last year to make more friends since those previous mentioned friends already had friends + relationships so I was kinda just there if that makes sense. I can literally approach anyone I’ve built that confidence even cold approaching for dating in public 😭 I’m super confident in my talking skills and yet making genuine friends just seems so hard. Maybe it’s my country Australia where everyone seems to be in cliques and it’s really hard to push past that but damn. All I can do is keep trying but holy it’s tiring 🫠
