I honestly don’t think there is a headliner this year, I mean four headliners? What is this lollapaloooza??? Coachella? I think what happened was tyler probably didn’t know who to have as a headliner, so he chose people who are subheadliners to go during the set. I feel that Tyler will perform saturday at 8 pm, then Don Toliver to close off while sunday Steve lacy will perform like at 6 pm, Future at 8 pm, then Turnstile to close it off. Why turnstile? They headlined camp flog gnaw before so it’s a must be, if not future will close off.

Unless it’s left to assume Don toliver and Future are the headliners, but I digress.

Hello!! I wanted to create this post as a bit of a plea/psa for this coming year’s Camp Flog Gnaw where I will go over Energy, Awareness, and Behavior. I won’t go too much into depth as they are simple, but please do read!!

Energy - Please, bring that energy!!!! Be excited and jump around during sets, hype everyone up or yourself up! Camp Flog Gnaw is an amazing event to be at so please don’t feel insecure to have fun and sing and dance. HOWEVER, please be mindful about how you act, such as a recent video from a Daniel Ceasar concert where two Women were singing at a high volume and poor quality. I am not saying it could happen since it’s a festival and nobody would care, but be mindful of those around you.

Awareness - Be aware of those around you! Especially towards short people. I don’t mean it to single them out, but they are harder to see in a crowd so please make sure if you’re moshing/moving erratically, watch out for them and people in general. Don’t fuck around and find out, you know?

Moshing - Moshing, or concert moshing, is best known to open giant circles and once a beat drops everyone rushes in. The only thing I have to say is if everyone is creating a circle and you know or see someone that doesn’t want to be dragged into, DO YOUR BEST to make sure they aren’t dragged into it. Especially at barricade, watch for the people around you and if they have some space where they can breathe.

Behavior - Be yourself, and watch out for others around you. That’s it. If you see someone purposefully messing with others then deescalate the situation, or ask someone else to. If you see someone pursue violence then either intervene to stop the situation or get security.

Hi, I went to VIP last year so I want to give an honest review on it, mainly the VIP areas. PLEASE NOTE, LAST YEAR THERE WAS A DELAY THAT RESULTED MANY PEOPLE TO REFUND, EXPERIENCE MAY DIFFER FROM OTHERS OBVIOUSLY 🫩

Food: Food was pretty good! No long lines, nor at least for me not any at all. Do understand that they will cost a lot, ~$17 or more.

Rides: Some rides did have little lines on it but the wait wasn’t too long, really fun however!

Bathrooms: Mainly port-a-potties in the camp and Flog site since they’re both have lounge areas throughout the whole festival. Camp did have fancier bathrooms for anyone to use so please make sure to try it out. Lastly, understand the sink waters may run out since they’re temporary use, so obviously the water tank will run out so definitely bring hand sanitizer.

Entrance: With VIP, there are two lines available so that you can enter in the very front. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO GO THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE IF YOU’RE SNEAKING SOMETHING IN. I’ve seen that people had vapes or smokes get taken away in the east entrance next to the gnaw stage. Main entrance is “less” to take anything from you, but be advised that there could be a chance that you may be checked.

Games: Like the rides, there are games but I think only at the camp stage there are stands, you still need to pay for it however BUT, if you want prizes please wait at the end of SUNDAY, since the staff need to start cleaning up sometimes they give away prizes for free and people will go crazy. But if you want to pay for games and win prizes then go for it.

View: (PLEASE UNDERSTAND I WENT LAST YEAR, LESS PEOPLE WENT DUE TO THE DELAY.) The view is pretty great! I was pretty close and had a great view at performers especially comparing on how big the crowd gets.

Crowd: (SAME AS BEFORE) The crowd was pretty still and nobody moved as much (I was in the middle front so I had pretty much space to myself). Nobody really opened up circles or anything to jump into except for new magic wand but sometimes people squeeze close by. I’m a big guy though so that might be a reason why I had space for myself.
