Cooking

Just a small question. I’ll be moving into Marlatt for the semester. What’s the cooking situation? I know we aren’t allowed to have a hot plate in the dorm, so how big and/or busy is the kitchen? I love cooking as a hobby so I wouldn’t want to take up people’s space that they need, since I’d be there pretty often.

Good restaurant for a birthday?

I’m moving here soon for uni and my birthday’s pretty much a couple days from when I arrive. So, what’d be a great idea for a solo birthday enjoyer? My budget would be right around $50 for a meal or so. I just want a nice night out to treat myself because frankly, I freakin’ need it at this point.

FlixBus question

So, I’m taking a Greyhound bus and have a FlixBus for the first leg of the trip. It says I get on at a local gas station and head to the transfer station from there. How do I ensure I get on this bus? I’ve heard bad things about FlixBus, it’s my first bus trip so I’m really anxious and this is a very important trip, so I really want to make sure everything goes somewhat okay. I apologize if this sounds like a dumb question, I’ve just never done a trip like this before.

If it helps, my route is Greenville SC heading towards NYC Chinatown, stopping at Charlotte NC. Maybe someone’s taken this route before and has experience?

I'm getting into a four year
college soon, and I need the Toyota Corolla of laptops. I don't need something beautiful or extreme performance, I just need the An Laptop of computers that will work whenever I turn it on, take notes and do some browsing on the side. My budget's admittedly not that large, I'm not that rich even going into college let alone after I move, so I need something pretty affordable. Thank you!
