I don’t want to annoy my attorneys office but I signed my settlement on the 27th of July. The insurance still hasn’t sent out my settlement paperwork. Can they really take a whole month to sent out & not be seen as negligence or something ?
Long story short I have over 100k coming in tax free before any debts ($15k at most). I plan a construction business in the future in the meantime Im just a construction worker. I am not in the best position to finance another vehicle because I’m already paying one as we speak. I want to pay cash right off bat. I’ve reached my final stop.. Too many mistakes have been made on both sides. I did my very best to make sure that things were done correctly & on a timely manner. I was given a 33% whole body impairment. Despite missing diagnosis from my 2nd neurologist & sleep apnea results. I went 8 months with no treatment & just to find out that the information in the RFA is incorrect simply due to it being sent out to the sister company. I was furious because I kept asking & asking. And when we had our expedited hearing my attorney went in with 2 month old RFA instead of my most current. They’re offering me $60k. And I think I’m just going to take it & see if they’ll give it to me with open medical because I’m tired of the constant denial. If I lowered the amount asking amount from $200k & lower it $160k before seeing a psychiatrist for a diagnosis for other symptoms from a TBI & Psychologist QME, can I increase the asking amount then? They offered $60k but I said no.
