Noob question

I’m currently revamping an old 80s car and I’ve managed to remove all the old sound deadening. I’m ready to install the new carbodies SD but I’m a bit stuck on what to do first. I have the old wiring and everything. Should I get an auto sparky to inspect it before installing the first layer or should I install the new SD first?
