DistroKid is saying that one of the songs I’m uploading to streaming services, needs to clear sampling and it’s referencing a song on Spotify that has little play and was uploaded 2 years ago. This artist that published the song looks to have bought the beat from the same distributor as I did from BeatStars but published the song not crediting the producer or something because why would DistroKid be alarmed that I’m stealing someone’s else’s work if I have credited the beat maker in my song?

Do I have to credit the person who uploaded their song using the same beat?

I’m very confused, any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🫡
