Caught my personal best bass and blue gill with some other nice fish.

Best day so far cool weather and surrounded by nature. Lots of deer and I caught my personal worst bluegill 😂

What do you guys think about my TEMPORARY baby corn snake Nacho's setup it's my first attempt. I used a tropical mix that was lightly misted along with some sphagnum moss to maintain humidity. I also added this log hide and a small water bowl. Any tips or things to change? I'II definitely upgrade the tank in the future. Also what is their morph and how often do I change the moss? Is that too much humidity for a corn snake? And will it be a good idea to add some isopods as a cleanup crew?

Caught a new PB Bluegill and landed my first (lot so large) large mouth bass. I fought a bigger one that was at least two pounds but it got off last second before landing it😭

After four times of having zero fish, i finally caught my first fish.

Hello everyone, I got my first ultra light rod two days ago. I got the Shakespeare micro series 4’6” and I need some help from you more experienced anglers. First question is what budget friendly reel would you guys recommend I am thinking the shimano fx1000 with some 8lb braid to help cast further. Second question is how do I cast lighter lures farther with this rod and what did you find is the sweet spot for lure weights? Also can I add split shots 12-14 inches above the lure to make it heavier and not mess the action up? Lastly I am really finding trouble learning how to retrieve soft baits in a way where it will interest the fish. I went fishing twice first day I got 5 bites but I wasn’t able to set the hook and I missed them all and I got 0 bites today. Please help me because I have been trying to fish for years and I never caught a fish but once. I’d love to learn and hopefully pass on what I’ll learn. P.S. I am located in Oviedo Orlando and I’d love to get good fishing location recommendations. Thanks in advance. Here is my current lure selection.
